March 24th was the Greenville County School Board Meeting at 7:00 Does anyone have information from that meeting then please post below. March 25th was the Planning Commission meeting that many community members attended. This is where they will discussed re-zoning further and staff recommended denial and council overruled them. If anyone has information from that meeting then please post below.

Planning Commission Meeting March 25th

March 25th at 4:30 (they start on time so get there at 4:00 ish) Conference Room D – County Square Find out what staff recommends about the re-zoning in our area. We will not be able to speak against their decision at this time.  Our items are only part of their meeting because there are other areas in Greenville County that are being rezoned. Come meet the developers

Come to the meeting on Thursday, March 26th at 5:30 in the evening . This meeting will be held at the new Berea Elementary, located at 100 Berea Drive, and will give members of the Berea community the opportunity to meet with representatives from Sembler, the prospective developer of the old Berea School property. Save the old Berea Elementary and the community with it!

To Whom It May Concern: I’m writing to share my support for the preservation of Berea Elementary School. I am graduate of Berea Elementary, along with my mother and father, Deanie and Debby Presnell, and my grandmother, Ruth Evelyn Farr and her brother and sisters, all members of the Farr family for whom Farrs Bridge road is named.
