Letter from Willis Meadows:
“As you know there have been many charges and rumors concerning what will happen to the old elementary school property. Some rumors have an element of truth while others are false. The community needs to have an opportunity to know what the options are for the property and what effect it will have on the community. I have read your emails and listened to your calls. It is time that we take a look at how we got to where are now and what needs to be done to make Berea a better place to live.
A COMMUNITY MEETING HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, MAY 18, 2017 AT THE NORTHWEST GREEENVILLE TECH CAMPUS IN THE MAIN BUILDING. THE MEETING WILL BEGIN AT 6:30 PM.
We will discuss the options available for the future of the old elementary school property and what is best for all of Berea. Since some of your neighbors may not use Facebook or get e-mails, please let them know about the meeting. It is important that all citizens of Berea have an opportunity to make their wishes known.”
